The Brockville Winter Classic Committee is giving supporters a chance to have some fun while raising money for a good cause through the Sevyjitoes Challenge.
The fundraiser supports the annual Friends of Palliative Care Golf Tournament, with all proceeds going to palliative care services at BGH.
For $20, participants receive a package of Sevyjitoes and a vote to decide which of the event's co-chairs, Pub or Coop (Dave Publow or Jim Cooper), will be pied in the face.
The challenge is designed to encourage community support while adding a friendly competition to this year's fundraising efforts.
Organizers say every package purchased includes one vote, with the winning choice receiving a pie in the face.
The Brockville Winter Classic has partnered with the Friends of Palliative Care Golf Tournament for the fundraiser, which aims to generate additional support for local palliative care initiatives.
Orders must be placed by Aug. 19. Supporters can scan the QR code on the event poster or use the order form to place an order before the deadline.
