Investigators say she was found in possession of several stolen power tools and a chainsaw
Brockville police arrested a 34-year-old woman after responding to a break and enter at the Hydro One facility on Front Avenue early Thursday morning.
Police say the call came in around 4:45 a.m. on Thursday (Oct. 30), reporting a suspect who had broken into the fenced yard and was still inside the property. Officers arrived quickly and located the woman within the facility.
Investigators say she was found in possession of several stolen power tools and a chainsaw. All the stolen property was recovered at the scene.
Further investigation revealed that the woman was already on three active probation orders with conditions to keep the peace and be of good behaviour.
She was arrested and charged with break and enter with intent to commit theft and three counts of failing to comply with probation. The accused was held in custody for a bail hearing.
