The Ontario Provincial Police are investigating a death after a person was found deceased at a residence in Augusta Township.
Grenville County OPP officers responded to a home on County Road 26 shortly before 3:30 p.m. on Wednesday, July 8. Police located one person deceased at the scene.
Investigators say early information suggests the incident is isolated, and there are no signs of a broader threat to public safety. The investigation remains ongoing as officers continue gathering information.
Residents in Augusta Township can expect to see an increased police presence while investigators remain in the area.
