With municipal elections set for this fall, local community members in Prescott are preparing to put their hats in the ring.
Incumbent mayor Gauri Shankar has been in the role since his induction in 2022. As the next vote approaches, he says he plans to seek another term in office.
He said that if residents want him to continue representing the community, he is prepared to do so.
