The event moves indoors to Town Hall if it rains
Prescott will become a roaming live-music stage Saturday as PorchFest brings performances to porches across town.
From 1 to 5 p.m., 10 artists will perform at 10 porch locations, giving visitors a chance to walk between neighbourhood stages and discover local music.
The lineup includes Paddy Gaffney, Gabrielle Salmon, Steve Bell, Jimi Martin, Aphra Anena, Morgan Belhumeur, Mary Moore, Keeley Brown, Tim Burns and Brian McAuley.
The event continues at the Prescott Town Hall “Porch” at 360 Dibble Street West. S’Mauken performs at 4 p.m., followed by HappyCrap at 5 p.m.
A BBQ chicken dinner will be available at Town Hall from 4 to 7 p.m. for $24 plus tax. The meal includes half a chicken, coleslaw, potato salad and a bun.
PorchFest is presented with South Grenville Events. Organizers say an official map and schedule are available on the Town's website. The event moves indoors to Town Hall if it rains.
