Mayor Shankar speaks with myFM
The town of Prescott is mourning the loss of long-time Councillor, Ruth Lockett who succumbed to her injuries after she fell at the Alaine Chartrand Community Centre on March 22.
Prescott Mayor Gauri Shankar told our own Bruce Wylie that this is a big loss for their council.
Before running for mayor, Shankar sat down with Lockett at the family-owned Prescott Tim Horton's and said this.
Ruth Lockett was 73.
