The Town of Prescott is taking steps to work more closely with neighbouring municipalities to improve the South Grenville area.
On Thursday, Prescott will host a tri council meeting to discuss projects and partnerships across the region.
Prescott Mayor Gauri Shankar outlined the purpose of the upcoming meeting.
He explained what the meetings are designated for.
One project that has been in development for some time is a plan for Prescott to supply water to neighbouring communities.
Mayor Shankar said progress is being made on the initiative.
Residents in the South Grenville area could see benefits in services and infrastructure as municipalities work together more closely.
