Residents can report snow-related concerns by calling 613-925-2812, ext. 6219
Significant recent snowfall has prompted the Town of Prescott to prioritize snow removal.
Mayor Gauri Shankar said plowing will get underway this week to keep roads and sidewalks safe for residents.
Cars are prohibited from parking on the street between midnight and 7 a.m. during winter months, in effect from November 1 to March 31.
During the winter, Prescott’s plows work continuously to clear about 32 kilometres of roads and 40,617 square metres of sidewalks.
Residents can report snow-related concerns by calling 613-925-2812, ext. 6219.
Permit parking is available at designated gravel and paved lots, with monthly and daily rates in effect.
