April 13 at 7 p.m. at 22 Ryan Street in Spencerville
Residents curious about how a small-town fair comes together will have a chance to find out later this month.
The Spencerville Agricultural Society is inviting the public to attend its April monthly meeting on April 13 at 7 p.m. at 22 Ryan Street.
Organizers say the meeting offers a look behind the scenes at how volunteers plan events, support agriculture and prepare for the annual Spencerville Fair.
The gathering is open to anyone interested, with no obligation to join the group. Attendees can listen, learn and meet some of the people who help keep the long-running community tradition alive.
The Spencerville Fair, now in its 171st year, is scheduled for Sept. 10 to 13, 2026.
Organizers encourage community members to get involved or simply learn more about how local events are organized in Eastern Ontario.
