Jennifer says her new role will allow her to continue supporting and advocating for the businesses in the downtown community
A longtime downtown Brockville business is preparing to close its doors.
Savvy Footwear and Fashion announced it will close after 18 years in business, with the store hoping to remain open until the end of December.
Owner Jennifer says she has been working two full-time jobs since January and it has become too much.
In a social media post, Jennifer thanked customers for supporting the King Street store over the years, saying many became friends.
She says customers with Savvy gift certificates or credit notes should use them before the store’s final closing date.
Jennifer is also the executive director of the Downtown Brockville Business Improvement Area.
She says while closing Savvy marks the end of an important chapter, she is not saying goodbye to downtown Brockville.
Jennifer says her new role will allow her to continue supporting and advocating for the businesses in the downtown community.
