The Brockville U18 Rep Jr. Braves are tournament champions after an exciting run at the Renfrew U18 Rep Tournament on Saturday. Brockville went undefeated on the day, capped by a dramatic shootout win over the Cumberland Jr. Grads in the championship game.

The Jr. Braves opened the tournament with a 3-2 shootout victory over Cumberland. They followed that with a strong 2-0 shutout against the host Renfrew Muskrats, setting up a rematch with Cumberland in the final.

Facing a short bench, Brockville battled through a physical and fast-paced championship game. Cumberland pushed hard, but the Jr. Braves stayed composed and earned a 4-3 shootout win to claim the banner.

Coaches praised the team’s effort and ability to adjust their game to match the situation. The win was described as a David-versus-Goliath moment, with teamwork and determination carrying Brockville to the title.
