Serious injuries reported
Brockville Police responded to a residential address in the city’s south end on February 26, 2025, after receiving reports of a female with significant injuries.
Upon arrival, officers found the woman with obvious and severe injuries. She was quickly transported to the hospital by Emergency Medical Services with serious but non-life-threatening injuries.
The investigation revealed that the victim’s 31-year-old son was responsible for the assault. He was arrested and charged with aggravated assault.
The suspect was held in custody pending a bail hearing and was remanded into custody. A future court date has been set for the accused.
