Yesterday was Project Poinsettia Day here at 104.9 myFM and 103.7 Giant FM.
With help from local businesses, station staff put together and dropped off poinsettias at a variety of long term care homes which included Wellington House and Mayfield in Prescott, Rosedale (Chartwell), Royal Brock Retirement Living and Sherwood Park Manor in Brockville, as well as Mapleview Lodge in Athens.
Rosedale General Manager, Krystal Legace said it means a lot to their residents.
Sherwood Park Manor resident, Penny Disotel said it made her day.
A huge thank you to all of the local businesses who sponsored this effort to spread some Christmas joy to local seniors ahead of the holiday season.
