What we can expect when it starts
We have the latest on when the first of a pair storms that have our listening area in their sites will hit, and what they'll bring.
David Phillips, Senior Climatologist for Environment Canada takes a look at what we can expect along the Seaway from Kingston to Cornwall.
Phillips says the first storm is tracking to hit this evening around 8 in Kingston and later as it tracks East towards our area.
He says the rain will then be mixed with ice pellets before switching to freezing rain around midnight and it will stick around for several hours.
If you absolutely do have to head out for any reason, make sure you're prepared with an emergency kit in your car and a fully charged cell phone.
