Students in Eastern Ontario will have more options for post-secondary education as St. Lawrence College and Fleming College prepare to offer 11 programs at partner campuses in 2027.
The colleges announced Oct. 15 that seven Fleming programs will be available at St. Lawrence College, while four St. Lawrence programs will move to Fleming for the 2027-28 academic year.
New options at St. Lawrence include massage therapy, pharmacy technician, carpentry and renovation technician, and developmental services worker.
Fleming will offer St. Lawrence programs in cybersecurity, medical laboratory science, medical laboratory assistant/technician, and communicative disorders assistant.
The changes are part of a planned integration between the two colleges.
St. Lawrence president and CEO Glenn Vollebregt said the expanded offerings will help students access career-focused training closer to their communities.
Campus locations, admission requirements and application deadlines are still being finalized.
The colleges are also seeking confidential feedback from students, employees, alumni, community members and industry partners.
