The St. Mary Junior Girls Basketball Team is asking the community to help support school sports through an upcoming bottle drive.
The team will collect donations Saturday, Sept. 26, from 9 a.m. to noon at the St. Mary Catholic High School parking lot.
Residents can drop off bottles at the school during the collection period. The team is also offering pickup arrangements for people who cannot make it to the school.
Pickup times can be arranged by emailing meredith.clarey@cdsbeo.on.ca or kendall.macleod@cdsbeo.on.ca.
Community members are encouraged to share information about the event and consider making a donation.
The fundraiser gives local residents an opportunity to support student athletes while helping the team with its basketball program this school year.
