Senior Support Services - LLG will host its annual Stroke Awareness Barbecue on June 16 from noon to 2 p.m.
Organizer Jennifer Godkin says the free event celebrates stroke survivors and caregivers during Stroke and Aphasia Awareness Month.
Godkin says it's important to know the signs of a stroke.
The event recognizes recovery journeys, supports awareness of stroke and aphasia, and brings together survivors, caregivers and healthcare professionals for connection and education.
RSVP by Wednesday (June 10) to Jennifer at jgodkin@seniorsupportllg.ca or 613-342-3693 (ext. 2043).
