A 33-year-old and a 49-year-old man
Brockville Police have arrested two men following a bizarre sword fight late Tuesday night. Officers were called to an apartment building on King Street East around 11:00 p.m. on June 24, where a 33-year-old and a 49-year-old man—reported to be roommates—had engaged in a violent altercation involving swords.
The confrontation escalated to a physical fight, ending when one of the men locked himself in a back room of the apartment. When police arrived, both men were found to have sustained multiple non-life-threatening injuries that required medical treatment.
The 33-year-old is facing charges of assault with a weapon, possession of a weapon for a dangerous purpose, uttering threats, and two counts of failing to comply with probation. The 49-year-old is also charged with assault with a weapon and possession of a weapon for a dangerous purpose. Both were held for bail hearings.
Police continue to investigate.
