Ownership hopes to have the doors open by Thanksgiving
A familiar Brockville bakery is preparing to welcome customers back with a fresh face and a new generation at the helm.
Brockville native Elizabeth Barlow is getting ready to take over Tait’s Bakery, bringing her pastry and baking education to the long-standing local business.
Barlow plans to add her own personality to the bakery while keeping the traditions that have helped make Tait’s a familiar name in the community.
The move also marks a new chapter for Barlow, who is looking forward to becoming part of Brockville’s business community and celebrating the people who support local businesses.
Tait’s Bakery does not yet have an official reopening date. However, Barlow hopes to have the doors open by Thanksgiving.
The reopening will give Brockville residents a chance to enjoy familiar Tait’s traditions alongside Barlow’s fresh perspective as the bakery begins its next chapter.
