City council and staff are wishing residents a safe and happy Thanksgiving weekend
Brockville residents should expect several changes to city services this Thanksgiving Monday, with closures affecting everything from transit to local cultural facilities.
City Hall, the Gord Watts Municipal Centre, wastewater treatment centre and water filtration plant will be closed Oct. 12.
Brockville Transit will also not operate, while the Brockville Arts Centre, public library, museum and Tourism visitor information centre will be closed for the holiday.
There will be no waste collection Monday, and pickup will be delayed by one day for the rest of the week. Residents should put their waste out one day later than their regular collection day.
The city’s compost site at the Gord Watts Municipal Centre will also be closed Monday.
