The City of Brockville thanked the community for its patience and continued support following the postponement
The City of Brockville has announced a new date for its postponed Canada Day fireworks display, giving residents and visitors another chance to celebrate along the waterfront.
The free fireworks show will now take place on Sunday, Aug. 2, at Blockhouse Island. The display is scheduled to begin at 9:45 p.m.
The original Canada Day fireworks were postponed, and city officials have now confirmed the rescheduled date for the annual event.
Residents and visitors are encouraged to gather at the waterfront to enjoy the evening display, which remains one of the city's popular summer attractions.
The City of Brockville thanked the community for its patience and continued support following the postponement. Officials said they look forward to welcoming spectators for the rescheduled celebration.
The fireworks are expected to light up the sky over the St. Lawrence River, offering a free family-friendly event to mark the delayed Canada Day celebration and bring the community together for an evening of entertainment.
