"Hope Starts With You" supports 20+ local programs
United Way Leeds & Grenville has named Darren Gallacher as the 2025 Campaign Cabinet Chair. A long-time volunteer and advocate for community change, Gallacher is known for his strong leadership and deep commitment to helping others.
Gallacher will lead the "Hope Starts With You" campaign, which supports more than 20 local programs. These programs tackle important issues like food insecurity, youth mental health, housing, and education.
“As Chair, I’m honoured to help turn our community’s generosity into lasting impact,” Gallacher said.
He will work alongside Cabinet members Ian McFall (Past Chair), Marilies Rettig, and Pamela Robertson. Together, they will engage with workplaces, donors, and community leaders to raise funds and awareness throughout 2025.
“We are thrilled to have Darren lead this year’s campaign,” said Hailie Jack, Executive Director of United Way Leeds & Grenville.
