On-site dressing rooms are available for skaters to lace up before heading onto the ice
Skaters are hitting the ice daily at the City of Brockville’s Rotary Rink, a free outdoor rink open to the public from 9 a.m. to 10 p.m. The rink is located at 185 George St. and welcomes residents and visitors of all ages.
Public skating is scheduled from 9 a.m. to noon and again from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. Hockey is permitted from noon to 4 p.m. and from 6 p.m. to 10 p.m. Skating is allowed during hockey times, though dedicated skating hours are recommended for a quieter experience.
On-site dressing rooms are available for skaters to lace up before heading onto the ice. A rink attendant is on duty seven days a week until closing time.
Visitors can also warm up at Chez Marty’s canteen, which offers hot chocolate, coffee and snacks. City officials say the rink provides accessible winter recreation for the community throughout the season.
