United Way announces 2026 campaign goal at annual 3M Harvest Lunch

The event brought together local dignitaries, community members and residents supporting the cause

The United Way of Leeds and Grenville hosted its annual 3M Harvest Lunch and announced its 2026 campaign goal today at the Brockville Legion.

The 3M Harvest Lunch is in its sixth year and continues to support efforts to fight food insecurity across the region.

Melissa Hindman, the United Way’s director of resource development, thanked 3M for its support and explained more about the annual initiative.

It aims to provide 2,000 meals to local people who need a helping hand.

The United Way also announced its 2026 campaign goal, which is $1 million.

Hindman said the organization will continue to work to reach that goal in support of the community.

The campaign motto is “Hope starts with you.”

Pamela Robertson, campaign cabinet chair, talked about what that motto means.

The United Way supports local programs and services, with all money raised through the campaign staying in Leeds and Grenville.

The event brought together local dignitaries, community members and residents supporting the cause.
