Brockville Ribfest is looking for volunteers to help bring the annual summer event to life.
Organizers say teams, groups, teens and individuals are all welcome to sign up for volunteer opportunities with the event. Volunteers are needed starting Aug. 6 for setup, with roles continuing through teardown on Aug. 10.
The event is supported by BGC South East, which says dedicated volunteers play an important role in making Brockville Ribfest possible.
Volunteer positions include event setup and teardown, helping in the canteen, preparing and selling food and drinks, monitoring parking areas and barricades, working in the beer tent with Smart Serve certification, supervising the kids zone, and helping with tables and site cleanup.
Volunteering gives community members a chance to experience Ribfest while supporting a local fundraising event.
