Community members of all ages are invited to take part
Brockville Little League Baseball is calling on the community to help get its diamonds ready for the upcoming season with a field clean-up day set for April 18.
The annual event will take place at Brackenreid Park and the Legion Fields starting at 9 a.m., as organizers prepare the grounds for young players returning to the sport.
Volunteers are encouraged to bring gloves and shovels and help with general maintenance. Organizers say even an hour of time can make a difference, adding that many hands will help speed up the work.
The clean-up is aimed at ensuring safe and playable conditions for local children ahead of the baseball season.
Community members of all ages are invited to take part. The effort highlights the importance of volunteer support in maintaining recreational spaces used throughout the spring and summer months.
