Top five finalists will perform live at Brockville Ribfest
Ribfest Idol is back, and organizers are looking for fresh local talent to take the stage this summer.
The popular singing competition is open to solo artists, duos and groups who are not currently performing regularly in bars or at events. All performances must be 100 per cent live — no backing tracks allowed.
Top five finalists will perform live at Brockville Ribfest, with the winner crowned on stage August 9 in front of a large crowd.
Anyone interested in entering can stop by Aaron’s M.I.L.L. at Stingers or call organizer Willy Stevenson at 613-803-8766 to apply.
This is a chance for unknown singers and musicians to shine, whether they sing country, rock or acoustic.
Ribfest Idol is known for discovering fresh voices and giving them a shot at stardom. The contest is expected to draw big local interest, so early sign-up is encouraged.
