Letters to Santa is back on the radio on 104.9 myFM every weekday at 7:15am and 6:15pm. The program is a long-time radio tradition here in Brockville. We recently pulled this episode from our archives, featuring Tom Statham hosting Letters to Santa on CFJR AM 1450 from December 1976.

Bruce Wylie, who at the time was just a few years into his time at CFJR remembers what it was like, saying Statham was the best Santa Claus.

Christine Radford, whose family owned CFJR at the time, says they had a special phone line that connected to the north pole, and Santa would read letters to all of the local children.
