What's Good in Brockville and Area? 22 restaurants compete in Leeds and Grenville’s Ultimate Burger Battle

Twelve local burger-loving ambassadors will also take part, sharing reviews and helping promote participating restaurants throughout the month

Burger lovers across Leeds and Grenville have 22 local restaurants to choose from as the Ultimate Burger Battle returns for its third year.

Hosted by the United Way Leeds and Grenville, the month-long competition runs until November 30, with $2 from every special burger sold going back to the United Way to support local programs and services.

Melissa Hindman, director of resource development with the United Way, said there are many different types of burgers available across the region.

Hindman said that along with the People’s Choice title, restaurants are also competing for the most burgers sold.

Last year, Stoodley’s in Elgin won the overall competition, including the award for the most burgers sold.

Twelve local burger-loving ambassadors will also take part, sharing reviews and helping promote participating restaurants throughout the month.

Residents can learn more about the competition and cast their votes at https://www.uwlg.org/UBB.
