August 16th in Athens
The historic Glen Elbe Learning Centre in Athens will once again be inviting the community to their annual summer party. The event will be held August 16th. Calder Schweitzer from the Learning Centre says this is a way to get the community together for a day of fun.

From news about the Land Trust to delicious food, there will be plenty going on.
Tour the property which features a 19th century barn, hiking trails and a waterfall. Taste of Syria will be on hand with food for everyone and ARBRU Solar Brewery will provide the beverages. The event runs from 3 until 6 p.m. Tickets are $80 and come with a tax receipt.
