Her release party is this Saturday in Prescott
Local singer-songwriter and former Ribfest Idol winner in 2022, IssaBel Charbonneau has a new song coming out this Friday (July 25) on all music platforms.
It's called "Scream Out", and Issa says the inspiration comes from the feeling of being picked last for dodgeball in gym class.
After school, she went home and had the song done in 20 minutes, she says.
On Saturday (July 26), she is holding a song release party at the Prescott Golf Club, and admission is a donation to the South Grenville Food Bank.
IssaBel says playing music and giving back is a great way to get to know others.
The event starts at 6 p.m.
