A local chip wagon is gaining some attention after being featured in a book celebrating Canada’s iconic food landmarks.
Jee’s Spuds, located on Highway 29 just outside Brockville, is included in Every Chip Stand, a book featuring illustrations of 130 food trucks across Canada.
Owner Jeff explains how his chip wagon became part of the project.
The local chip wagon is not just among the 130 featured food spots. It ranked near the top, something Jeff says he is very proud of.
Jeff says people from across North America have tried the food and that reviews have been positive. He also says business has increased by about 5 to 10 per cent since the book was released.
