This Friday and next Tuesday
Remembrance Day is coming up on Tuesday, November 11 and Mallorytown is honouring it with not one, but two ceremonies.
Front of Yonge Township Councillor, Margaret Fancy says the first one is this Friday (Nov. 7) at 11 a.m.
Then the township's main ceremony will be on Tuesday.
Thanks to a community grant from the province, the township and the Mallorytown Legion have teamed up to mount banners honouring local servicemen.
They're mounted along Highway 2 in the village of Mallorytown and Fancy says they hope to expand the project in the near future.
