Local leaders hope to see strong participation from families across the township
Families in Augusta Township will have plenty of options to keep young people busy during the upcoming March Break.
The Augusta Township Public Library is planning a week of special programming aimed at local youth while school is out.
Deputy Mayor Adrian Wynands explained what they have in store.
Another event is also being planned for later in the month. A community Easter party is set for March 29 in North Augusta.
Wynands gave the scoop on that event.
Organizers say the programs are meant to give children and families opportunities to gather, stay active and take part in community events during the school break and the weeks that follow.
