What's Good in Brockville and area? Ontario SPCA urgently seeks local fosters to care for pets in need

Anyone interested in fostering an animal can visit the Leeds and Grenville Animal Centre - Ontario SPCA for more information

The Ontario SPCA Leeds and Grenville Animal Centre is asking local residents to consider fostering pets.

Fostering gives animals a safe place to stay while waiting for permanent homes and allows people to form unforgettable connections with them.

Katelyn Stojadinov, Community Outreach Coordinator with the OSPCA Leeds and Grenville, explains what fostering an animal can entail.

She noted a couple of other reasons why animals need a foster parent to care for them.

Although fostering is a big responsibility, the rewards are significant for both the animal and the foster family.

The organization is also seeking Humane ED Volunteers, but finding foster homes remains its main priority.
