Registration costs $35 for adults and $10 for children under 12
The Spencerville Mill and Museum’s annual Canoe Poker Run is returning this spring, with organizers urging early registration as interest continues to grow.
Organizer Mary Tessier said the event welcomes more than just canoes.
Tessier describes what’s planned for the day.
Participants must return by 12:30 p.m., when a barbecue lunch, entertainment and cash prizes will be available at the mill.
Tessier added that those without a vessel are able to borrow one through local partners.
The event supports the Spencerville Mill Foundation and its efforts to preserve the historic site. Organizers say the run has attracted hundreds of paddlers in recent years.
