Students are learning skills in design, budgeting, and marketing while donating 10 per cent of profits to Connect Youth, a Leeds and Grenville charity supporting local youth
Giants Ink is printing T-shirts left, right, and centre — thanks to guidance from teacher Andrew Carson at South Grenville District High School.
The student-run business, launched through the Upper Canada District School Board’s Real-World Learning program, has grown from a classroom project into a thriving custom apparel venture.
This young entrepreneur said working on the business has been an unforgettable experience.
She explained that the program has taught her how to start small and grow over time.
She also highlighted her favourite parts about manufacturing the shirts.
Giants Ink now produces shirts, decals, and stickers for local schools, community groups, and businesses, including apparel for the Spencerville Kraft Hockeyville campaign.
