The Brockville Magedomas 4th Annual Oldtimers Hockeyfest returns this week, promising two days of recreational hockey and community support in eastern Ontario.
Organizer Peter Verhoeven explained how the event got its name.
Verhoeven spoke about the teams taking part this year, including some new participants joining the tournament.
Each team is guaranteed three games over the two-day schedule.
The tournament will also feature raffles and a silent auction, with a range of donated prizes available. Verhoeven outlined some of the items up for grabs for attendees.

All proceeds will support the Weekender Program for Students, which helps provide food to local youth experiencing food insecurity.
