Organizers say the annual show is expected to draw visitors from across the region and beyond
Residents and hobbyists are getting ready for a popular event in eastern Ontario as the 3rd Annual Prescott Model Train and Toy Show rolls into town.
Organizer Stewart Reed says they’re expecting a packed event.
The show runs April 11 from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the Leo Boivin Community Centre in Prescott. Visitors can see operating layouts, detailed displays, browse model train sales and more.
Admission is five dollars for adults, while kids 12 and under get in free. The event is presented by the Prescott Model Railway Group and welcomes newcomers and longtime hobbyists alike.
All proceeds will support the South Grenville Food Bank, something Reed says is important for the community.
