United Way Leeds & Grenville is marking Giving Tuesday tomorrow (Dec. 2) with extended office hours and community donation collection.
Executive Director Hailie Jack talked about the idea behind Giving Tuesday.
Jack said the United Way not only funds programs to help people who're hungry, but also preventative programs.
Residents are encouraged to give back through donations, volunteering or simple acts of kindness. All donations to United Way will be matched from 2-6 p.m., with live updates on 104.9 myFM.
