Dec. 7-13

The 2025-26 hockey season has been a big one so far for Brockville Braves forward Peter Legostaev.

The 18-year-old is second on the Braves in terms of point totals with 17 in 12 games, is just over a point per game with the QMJHL's Gatineau Olympiques as a call up, and was just named to the Canada East roster for the Junior 'A' World Challenge (Dec. 7-13) in Trois-Rivières, Quebec.

Legostaev says it means a lot to be selected.

He also talked about the Braves' matchup tonight against the nationally ranked, Rockland Nationals.

The Braves are currently tied for the eighth and final playoff spot in the CCHL standings with a record of 8-8-3 through 19 games.

Puck drop is 7:30 at the Brockville Memorial Centre.
