The Brock Trail is set to grow, giving residents and visitors more ways to explore the city’s waterfront, downtown, and local attractions.
Mayor Matt Wren emphasized just how important the Brock Trail is here in Brockville.
Wren explained the long-term plan for the trail.
With funding now in place, including a generous donation from the Carolyn Sifton Foundation, Wren said the main focus is arranging property access with Via Rail, who he says are supportive of the idea.
Plans are also underway to improve facilities for the community.
Mayor Wren highlighted new washrooms set to open next summer at the Downtown Farmer’s Market, enhancing the experience for market-goers and trail users alike.
These developments reflect Brockville’s ongoing commitment to improving community spaces and supporting projects that benefit residents and visitors alike.
The city continues to invest in initiatives that enhance quality of life and promote local engagement.
