The initiative helps spread holiday cheer to local seniors
Donations for the annual Stocking for Seniors drive, now in its fifth year, are complete, but the best part for local seniors is still to come.
Community Relations Officer Sarah Dodgson explained the idea behind Stockings for Seniors.
She highlighted some of the items seniors will get a chance to receive this holiday.
Organizers said the initiative depends on community generosity, which has made the drive a seasonal highlight in Brockville.
Dodgson noted what she hopes comes out of the initiative.
Organized by Senior Support Services – LLG, the Stocking for Seniors drive has become a key part of the town’s holiday season, showcasing Brockville’s commitment to caring for older residents.
