The Brockville Seventh-day Adventist Church is getting ready to host its fourth annual fundraising concert in support of the Brockville and Area Food Bank.
The concert takes place Saturday, Sept. 26, beginning at 4 p.m.
Offerings and donations will be collected throughout the event.
Food Bank Manager Amanda Petch explains the importance of local fundraisers like this.
Petch says demand for food bank services continues to rise.
The Brockville and Area Food Bank relies on community support to help provide food and other assistance to local residents, as it does not receive funding from any level of government unless it’s through a grant.
