Residents of all ages are welcome to stop by, chat with officers, and learn more about their work
Brockville Police are inviting residents to “Coffee with a Cop” today from 9:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. at McDonald’s on Parkdale Avenue. The event gives the community a chance to meet officers, enjoy coffee, and ask questions in a relaxed, friendly setting.
The program is part of an ongoing effort to build stronger connections between police and residents. In past events, officers have handed out McDonald’s coupons to recognize positive interactions in the community.
Darryl Boyd from the Brockville Police explained why the initiative is valuable for both officers and residents.
The initiative encourages dialogue, helps break down barriers, and promotes trust between law enforcement and the public. Residents of all ages are welcome to stop by, chat with officers, and learn more about their work.
Boyd also shared examples of the types of questions residents can ask during the event.
