Over 600 "pay it forwards" since July of last year
Since July 27 of last year, Papa’s Pizza Land on King Street has given out 615 “Pay it Forwards,” feeding over 1,000 people in Brockville.
The program, supported by local individuals, offers free pizzas to those in need.
Here's the owner, Matthew Landry.
Landry says he's been blown away with how this has turned out.
Community members cover $10 pizzas for those in need. Final numbers to come soon, as the program nears its one-year mark.
The business opened on King Street in October 2023.
