Organizers encourage locals to come out, enjoy the activities and support the Mac Johnson Wildlife Area
The annual Fall Festival at Mac Johnson Wildlife Area returns Saturday, Oct. 17, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.
The event is hosted by the Friends of Mac Johnson Wildlife Area.
Organizer Gwen Gibson says they will have the Mush Larose dogsled races again this year, but with a little twist.
They will also have their popular canteen with food and drinks, pumpkin carving, campfire treats and more.
The Ontario SPCA Leeds and Grenville will also host its Trail of Treats event, where pets and youngsters can collect treats along the trails.
Visitors can also learn more about butterflies from the Augusta Township and Area Butterfly Way Project, which will be on site.
Admission is by donation, and Gibson explains what those donations will support.
