Brockville's Grady Spicer is gaining attention ahead of the 2026 NHL Draft in June. The former Brockville Braves defenseman ranks 212th among North American skaters by NHL Central Scouting.

He talked about the development path that has gotten him to this point.

Whether he gets drafted or not, Spicer says he'll maintain a positive outlook.

He recorded 33 points in 45 games with the GOJHL's LaSalle Vipers, plus four in playoffs this season. He also played with the Windsor Spitfires and is committed to Clarkson University for the 2027-28 season.
