An asset that Brockville should have for many years to come
Thursday morning at St. Lawrence Park, Chief Mark Noonan and several other officers with the Brockville Police Service received a generous donation from a key partner.
Inspector Tim Diebel of the Ontario RCMP tells us more.
Diebel says the RCMP hopes that Brockville is able to enjoy the benefits of this asset for many years to come.
He says this donation adds to the patrolling of the international border.
Diebel adds that having Brockville police officers embedded in the program enables more authority for the RCMP and more capabilities for protecting the international border.
