The city's goal is Labour Day weekend
After nearly seven months, the reconstruction of the William Street Overpass in Brockville is close to being finished.
City staff say the bridge deck waterproofing and asphalt have been completed, as well as the instalation of the new guard rails.
Their target date for the reopening is coming fast. Here's Brockville Mayor Matt Wren.
Here he is again on whether or not there will be a ribbon cutting ceremony for the reopening.
Mayor Wren thanks the community for their patience during this inconvenience.
Please note that final paving will take place later this fall.
